Allow games to be played where both players are local and on the same device. The device/controller is passed between turns.
I alredy made a suggestion about that.
We did have this but removed it because the contents of your bridge and your unrevealed ship assists (ie, all the hidden information) pretty breaks pass and play.
Just don’t show those things on the other persons turn? I am playing on a Steam Deck not a TV.
I’d rather be able to play with others at home with this limitation then not be able to at all.
Yes. I promise my wife and I don’t care about the competative-ness being slightly impacted. We are just trying to have fun.
Really hope you reconsider this; other games have solved this well (like “Ascension”, on iOS). Players simply “don’t look” when it’s not their turn, and then when it is their turn, the opponent’s turn is replayed for them to see.
If it helps, I literally choose not to buy the game because of this missing feature. It turns the game into a single player experience instead of a communal one.
This is really necessary. It can even let me deduce some tactics
Please add. Looking for a two player game with my wife.
