Certain models have masking that is rather uncomfortable to paint with or inconsistent and leads to a lot of accidents.
For example, Shrapnel:
Switchback:
Compare this to a model like Astra, where everything is masked in a logical, consistent fashion: Feathers, cloth, armor, skin, and other metallic bits are all in their own masks, separated further in certain areas to avoid accidentally painting over.
Adoring the painting system so far, but tweaking the masks a little would make things a lot more convenient.
I totally agree
On Maximus his gloves and his guns are in the same group but for the 2 cost lady that grants Rapidfire the gun is separate from her glove. It is the same gun model for both of them.
I’ve been painting Astra right now, and I feel like there are some sections that need better masking. i.e., the ‘skin/flesh’ has the same masking as the ‘mouth’. If I wanna paint the interior of the mouth pink, I might accidentally bleed over back to the ‘jaw’ or ‘lips’.
