I think the turn timer needs to be extended the longer the matches go. When you have many units on the board it becomes more a mindless race to get all actions in than rather strategic approach. Many games where me and my opponent end the turn with actions still available.
It has been game losing. I suggest either add seconds the longer the game goes or according to number of units on the field
Certain actions don’t seem to pause the turn timer as well, which would be useful, so that we’re not forced to just watch the time run out while we wait for some animations or actions to complete before we can trigger our next actions.
It could be at least dependent on how many of your own miniatures are on the table. So say: set amount of time + X seconds per mini you have on the board.
I disagree. A clock is going to help the game long term in terms competitively and having a fully deployed battlefield of units SHOULD make it so that you need to make decisions much faster.
I do think that the clock should stop when control is out of your hands because of animations or stack resolution. There are some animations that take significantly longer than others.
I’m here waiting for you to get told “the timer is perfect you just haven’t played enough to know it yet” Status: Rejected
something along the lines of MTG:Arena, where completeing several turns quickly will essentially allow you to ‘bank’ that time for a more complicated turn.
the thing is i already know de decision i wanna make and sometimes its still not enough
