Increased Variety of Map Hazards, would increase the importance of a wider diversity of the utility in current design of units.

Areas of Hazerdous Terrain.
Things that cause conditional effects like the “electrified” status, or turning off passive or active abilities. Reducing movement by a set number of 1-2. Causing damage when entered. Periodic damage effects like burn.

Maps With Hostile Neutral Units.
This could be a map with units that within an active aoe are aggroed and then attack units, there could be conditions for aggro priority that increase interesting dynamics of forced activations.

The importance of implementing these early, is the importance of long term design of units, and setting the constraints of the unit design against a wider array of variables for long term proofing.

Health thresholds and movement thresholds might need to be reconsidered if such features are implemented or planned.
