Less flat roster composition#1262

Actually the roster composition phase is quite flat in the sense that everybody has access to the same crews. So if a crew is slightly overpowered everyone will pick it, if if’s slightly underpowered no one will. Crews which fits certain roles are an auto-pick (Aria is in every single roster i fight, not because she’s op, but having an ambush crew is handy, and if works well from far away even more).
There should be some mechanic which encourages a more diverse picking.
For example, by culture. One could chose the main culture of its crew, and the crew from cultures different from that one could cost 1 more leadership. Or something like that. Of course, to achieve this the number of available crews should be quite higher than it is now (and cultures would have to be balanced).
Another way is introducing units with strong synergy with each other, something in the lines of “if there are other friendly robotic units on the field, this unit has +1 atk”

This is something that has been brought up before is roster perks, so I’d hope its not a super far out thing
