Longer or unending Cargo Run#1182

Would love to see a longer cargo run mode, either like triple the length or even an unending variant. Considering it’s supposed to mimick a rougelike, it ends far too quickly imo. Especially if you get a unit or 2 with insane buffs. Because of the 5 mission structure currently, you can’t get to see your wacky builds op going off as much as you’d like. Obviously let the the game scale with you as well. People wanna see a Tipu with 32hp, 23 dmg, with pummel, armor, resilient, fast, charge and with no leadership cost go up against a boss with 100hp and… well do boss stuff, whilst Tipu can casually live up to the name of “Destroyer of Galaxies”. You want it, we want it, so why delay the inevitable? Embrace the cheese and let the chaos of rng run it’s course.

You’re not the only person that’s suggested this! We’re leaning into this sentiment exactly for our upcoming Reaches single-player we’re working on.

You may not be able to fight more Cargo Run bosses, but your units will be able to live on for a very long time, with tons of upgrade potential. Maybe we can figure out a way to let you rename your units once they get to a certain point also, so you can have that Destroyer title officially…
